Managing Challenging Foot Cases in Horses
Dr Luke Wells-Smith will be presenting a lecture titled Managing Challenging Foot Cases in Horses. Motion Equine Podiatry Consulting with present the event in conjunction with the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) Central West Branch. Both AVA and non-AVA members can attend the event at Bathurst RSL Club on the 22nd of June at 7pm. Luke will speak about the veterinary diagnosis and management of different foot related lameness issues. Discussion topics will include seedy toe, laminitis, caudal heel pain, foot abscess and pedal bone infection. The lecture will also be presented in a case based format and will aim for audience participation and discussion.

Luke has lectured at many veterinary, farrier and owner events in the past. These include Bain Fallon, AVA Branch meetings in Victoria and New South Wales, Equitana and horse owner evenings in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
